Regards d’Ailleurs is a NGO based in Compiègne, France. It was created in 2010.
Our aim is to organise educational activities to promote the protection of nature in France and abroad. We have ongoing project in France and Indonesia where fauna and flaura are endangered. We implement different activities such as letter exchange between French and Indonesian kids, exhibition, film projections, games, workshops and seminars.
Our main project is currently taking place in Indonesia and is called “Tangkoko Conservation Education”. Our primary aim is to increase and develop environmental education in villages surrounding the Tangkoko Nature Reserve in North Sulawesi, Indonesia. Together with the local population, we are trying to protect and raise awareness about endangered wildlife such as the crested macaques (Macaca nigra).
Our exhibition “In jungle far away” is travelling! After a short stay at the Amiens Zoo and the Vienne High School, it is now staying at the Zoological Park of CERZA in Lisieux (France)
